WATER AND DIAMOND: NO. 8 IS DIAMOND COMBUSTIBLE?

One anchorman said on TV that since diamonds consist of carbon, they will burn away.  If it is that easy to burn diamonds, I think they would not exist to start with.

Diamonds are uplifted with magma which is 1000 from 250km down the earth to near the surface, and cooled down rapidly to 400 to 500 due to adiabatic expansion.
Under those hash circumstances, however, diamonds will stay the same, and will not be burnt away.

Also, a base rock plays a role.  It is also called Kimberlite or blue ground, and protects rough diamonds from blazing magma by holding them tight in themselves.  Carbon is an origin of life.  Therefore, diamonds, crystallized carbon, are children of lives on earth, and humans share the same life origin.  When the children are pushed out from deep in the earth to the surface through a magma road, secrets of nature will help to make it happen.  I cannot help thinking about the wonder of life, which is supported by something unseen and something great.
